Brickell is on the Biscayne Bay and there are a number of marinas for those who enjoy boating and Mary Brickell Village is known for its dining and vibrant nightlife. To get downtown, you just need to take the Metro Rail, which runs through Brickell and the Miami International Airport is a 15 minute drive. Brickell is centrally located to all attractions in Miami. Icon Brickell Tower II South is right next to downtown in the financial district of Miami known as Brickell. Every detail of the residences is luxurious. Residences feature high ceilings, oversized terraces, floor to ceiling glass, pre-wiring, and imported finishes and flooring. Some of the details of the property include a massive 28,000 square feet spa, state of the art fitness facility, a two acre outdoor sanctuary with long pools and tropical landscaping, and two restaurants. It is considered a modern trident and Easter Island served as inspiration for the entrance of abstract columns. The entrance to the Icon property and interiors are visually arresting thanks to famed French designer Philippe Starck. They range from 620-1,984 square feet of interior space and have incredible views of the Miami River, skyline, and Biscayne Bay. Residences are available in studio to 3 bedrooms and penthouses. In total there are 1,648 residences and 162 rooms in the hotel. The north and south tower are both 57 stories high and the Viceroy is 50 stories high. W Miami is home to the "Whisper Lounge", a 50th floor rooftop lounge that boasts a swimming pool and panoramic view of downtown Miami, Key Biscayne and South Miami Beach.Icon Brickell Tower II South is one of the most lavish residential condominiums on the market today. The association of condominium owners is named the Icon Brickell Condo Number Three Association. W Miami is managed by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Unlike the twin towers it shares the site with, W Miami is shorter and instead of simply condominiums, it also includes a hotel. Like the North Tower and South Tower, W Miami was designed by Arquitectonica. W Miami (formerly Viceroy Miami) is the third building in the Icon Brickell Complex. The North Tower is the same height as the South Tower, but is shaped differently. They are the same height and share the same amount of floors.

The Icon Brickell South Tower is adjacent to its twin, the Icon Brickell North Tower. The architectural firm Arquitectonica worked on the project, while the design was done by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox's design company.

The complex is on the east side of Brickell Avenue between Southeast 5th and 6th Streets. The third phase of the complex is the W Hotel Tower, which is 542 feet (165 m) tall with 50 floors. Each one is 586 feet (179 m) tall with 58 floors. The first two towers, the Icon Brickell North Tower and Icon Brickell South Tower, are twin buildings.
