Those who receive fallback licenses will get a license for the version that is available when their subscriptions end. But as a token of appreciation, we are doing things differently this time. Normally when a fallback license is granted, the user receives a license for the version of the product that the user started their subscription with. Please note that Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile is independent from the sunsetting of AppCode, and further investment in that tooling continues. The scope of the updates will be limited to these two areas.

Until December 31, 2023, we will continue to provide technical support and release updates that specifically address compatibility issues with Xcode 14, as well as critical security updates as necessary. We believe that the time has come to sunset the product and focus our efforts in other directions. While we’ve had some growth in terms of adoption, we didn’t reach the market share we had hoped for. Since the release of AppCode 1.0 11 years ago, we’ve been applying our expertise to make coding for iOS/macOS more enjoyable. All active subscriptions will get a fallback license to v2022.3. As of December 14, 2022, we will no longer sell new subscriptions or renew existing ones for AppCode. With the release of v2022.3, we are sunsetting the product. #keyPath(UserDefaults.AppCode 2022.3 has just been released! It comes compatible with macOS 13 and Xcode 14.2, brings more refactoring capabilities for Swift, enables language injections, and offers a new approach to settings synchronization. If you're interested, you can then follow that to it's dependencies (manually, using by reading package.swift), and find out it is set to true by default.

  • If you want to debug both Flutter and iOS simultaneously, start the iOS debugger, then "Flutter attach" in android studio (maybe this is possible in VSCode too, but I don't use that).
  • everything fails but the error is build failed in AppCode, you should open in Xcode or build/run the flutter app for iOS: flutter run and read the error messages. Xcode does reading configuration better or debugging builds.

    Refactoring code, debugging the application, searching and reading code works really well in AppCode. Built at least once using flutter run or Xcode (to make sure configuration is set up).Then Opt + F1 to show it in the project navigator. The files don't show up immediately, use Command + Shift + O to find your file.For Flutter plugins, run appcode example/ios ( not appcode ios).For editing/debugging/running Flutter apps' iOS code: run appcode ios.I got AppCode working again, so I wanted to share. However, I recently started making a free app, and also wanted to contribute to a Flutter plugin for iOS, I wanted AppCode again. I previously used AppCode quite a lot to maintain some Flutter plugins' iOS code (but switched jobs and didn't need AppCode or Xcode).
